Cambridgeshire & Peterborough
Rural residents and small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in rural areas across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough can now benefit from the fastest and most reliable broadband connectivity by applying for funding as part of a group scheme to support the cost of installing new gigabit-capable connections.
Connecting Cambridgeshire is offering additional top-up funding for those premises on slower speeds (under 30Mbps) of up to £1,500 to help connect harder-to-reach groups of rural properties so their current broadband speeds can be more than doubled.
Premises | UK Government’s UKGV Scheme | Cambridgeshire & Peterborough top-up available | Total funding available for installation |
---|---|---|---|
Residential | Up to £1,500 | Up to £1,500 | Up to £3,000 |
SMEs | Up to £3,500 | Up to £1,500 | Up to £5000 |
Group projects are when two or more residents or businesses get together to combine their vouchers towards the cost of connections.
No separate application is required as eligible properties will receive the top-up funding when benefiting from a rural voucher through a registered supplier.
